| |
After exact a week of release of Windows Phone 8.1, many users are complaining about bugs and problems they faced in the Dev Preview. I think it is obvious to face those because the OS is still in Beta. Many of our readers are interested in downgrading from Windows Phone 8.1 Dev Preview to the older Windows Phone 8. We have a quick tutorial for downgrading to Windows Phone 8. Before heading to the tutorial, here are some additional information for it. Be sure to read it carefully. It will only work with Nokia Lumia devices. Owners of other maufacturers must alter their device third-party applications. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR DATA LOSS. PERFORM IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
To revert to the Windows Phone 8.1 to Windows Phone 8.0 on the Nokia Lumia, you should do the following:
  • Download the app for Retail NSU from Here
  • Connect your phone with an unlocked screen NSU running on your PC.
  • Wait check firmware.
  • Wait until the download is complete, it can last a long time.
  • Wait for the installation.
  • Finish.
So this was the quick tutorial on how to downgrade back to Windows Phone 8. For any help you can either comment below or follow me on Twitter (@anmol_112).
