Nokia Audio Updated

Audio system app for Nokia Lumia WP8 smartphones gets a minor update. The app switches to version 1.2.2.10 from previous release v1.2.1.4.  Unfortunately, no official changelog has been released with the update, but minor bump in version number suggest a fix or optimization.

“Nokia Audio is a sound settings app for Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones that gives access to the 7-band equalizer with 20 presets in addition to Dolby Headphone, Audio Leveling and now Flip to Silence feature with latest Amber update (for phone calls). Just so you know – these audio settings only work for wired headphones, not the wireless kind.”

In previous update the app get audio leveling feature to set the same playback volume for all music and video tracks.

Nokia has just released a new version of its photo sharing service/app PhotoBeamer for Lumia WP8 smartphones. The latest version 1.2 brings support for higher resolution beaming, fine tuning and some bug fixes to the app.

The new version of PhotoBeamer app will also be able to automatically detect the best resolution to display the images on the receiving screen to guarantee you pictures look their best.

If it’s a full HD resolution screen, then PhotoBeamer will display the images at full HD; if not, it will run at the maximum quality that the screen allows.
